What It Does

Fixes that sketchy, side-to-side axle swing after a lift.
Brings your track bar (panhard bar) back to a more natural, level position.
Keeps your rig tracking straight, planted, and predictable on-road and off.
Bolt-on design — no welding, no guesswork.

Why It Matters

When you lift your rig, the track bar angle gets steep. That forces the axle to swing left/right instead of moving up/down — making the rear feel unstable.
The B.O.T.C.K. raises the pivot point to flatten that bar and bring your handling back to normal. Simple fix, huge difference.

Shorty vs. Regular – Pick the Right One

How to Pick the Correct B.O.T.C.K. Version

Park on level ground.
Measure from the ground to the center of the frame-side track-bar bolt.
Measure from the ground to the center of the axle-side track-bar bolt.
Subtract the two measurements to find your bolt-height difference:

1.5"–2.99" → Shorty Version (or use the bottom hole on the Standard bracket)
3" or higher → Standard Version (use the top hole)

Planning to lift higher later? Go with the Standard Version — it gives you extra mounting options as your suspension height changes.

Updates You Need to Know

No more flange nuts – now standard hex nuts.
Washer for side bolt no longer needed.
Torque spec: 105 ft-lbs on all bolts with lots of blue Loctite (or a little red). If you send it with and 18v impact you still couldn’t break the bolts. 125lbs is my max torque.
KDSS or non-KDSS? Doesn’t matter. Works with both.

B.O.T.C.K. is Flawless

Great help to my 4runner lifted 3 inches, just did a 1000 mile trip post install it has been a worlds difference, no more wandering on the freeway. Huge plus to this being BoltON thick and reinforced bracket as opposed to welding and it took me about 30 minutes to install

B.O.T.C.K. absolutely delivered

Dom does NOT play when it comes to engineering. You can tell everything from Dr. KDSS is actually designed with intention — not just built to look cool.

After installing the B.O.T.C.K., the difference in handling was instant. The rear end feels planted instead of loose, especially at highway speeds. Body roll is way more controlled, lane changes feel tight and predictable, and I can actually take corners with confidence instead of white-knuckling it. It tracks straight, absorbs road imperfections way better, and the whole rig just feels balanced — like the suspension is finally in sync.

And the strength? Straight up tank status. The materials are beefy, welds are clean, and once it’s torqued down it does NOT flex or shift. You can tell it’s built to handle real abuse — daily driving, towing, off-road hits — and it just eats it up.

I’ve had this on for over 6 months now without a single issue. No weird noises, no loosening up, no regrets. It’s still bussin.

If you care about handling, stability, and running parts that are actually engineered right, this is it. B.O.T.C.K = automatic upgrade. This is a must have if you lifted your GX/4runner

1,000+ Mile Road Trip Test. Huge Improvement.

I wanted real miles before leaving a review, so I waited until after a 1,000+ mile Colorado to Arizona road trip. Huge improvement. The control is noticeably better and the road manners feel much more refined. Highway driving is smoother, more stable, and confidence-inspiring. It completely changed the driving feel and made the GX drive like the luxury SUV it’s supposed to be.

This kit was far easier to install on my 2020 4runner TRD PRO than the videos show. I could have used another inch higher, but my problems were solved the way it came. My top heavy, wobbly feel is gone and the rear doesn't try to kick out. I did not get an adjustable panhard bar, but would if I went higher than 3".
