The new Gen3 Sequoia utilizes a 5 link rear suspension.  Upper and lower Links and a cross link know as the Pan Hard bar aka trac bar !!

When you lift a solid axle that has a track bar (aka panhard bar )depending on the lift height, the angle of that trac bar  becomes so steep, that any natural cycling of the axle will cause a feeling of being unstable.  The reason for this is the trac bar being so angled, it forces the axle to swing left and right under the vehicle vs the axle cycling up and down.  

To remedy this issue, you want to raise ( or lower frame side ) the pivot point on the axle so that the trac bar is parallel or as close to parallel to the ground / axle.   With the trac bar in this configuration , the natural cycling of up and down is returned ( for the most part , once you start to add a lot more travel ie long travel , things start to swing out again.   Regardless , this will still be beneficial to having vs not having ). 

This bolt on trac bar correction kit is designed with strength in mind.  The way it is designed, wrapped around , thick wing nut inside the oem bracket , the load is evenly distributed along the whole oem mount and not just the top where the welds are at.  On top of that you can easily toss in Some small spot welds if you are that guy that just needs it.  This thing is easily installed and or removed for whatever reason.  Just being bolted on and torqued down properly, it is stronger then any option on the market   ( if you are a competitor of this product , let’s do a cad analysis and see which is stronger   I challenge anyone ) !  

This product is really only recommended for lifts of 2”-3”+ of rear lift.  In some cases this bracket can contact the crossmember.   If it does, rest assure that you won’t break the oem mount or this brackets.   I can’t say that for the weld on option in the market as it will transfer the load through oem mount and potentially rip off!!  

SHORTY OPTION:  I recommend the shorty option for g3 Sequoia if you are 1.5-2.99” of lift height. Anything higher you want the standard height and run the top hole.  If you’re unsure about if you are going to possibly raise the height later.  Then get the standard and run the bottom hole. When you raise it later , then you have the extra mounting hole.

SHorty mounting hole as well as the bottom mounting hole for the standard height bracket is 2” above the oem hole.  The very top mounting hole for the standard is 3” above the oem hole   

 

Gold and King blue option are 2/3 stage powdercoat. You may experience tight mounting holes do to clear coat.   Don’t worry.  Get a round file and file it down a little or smash it in.  I recommend round file 😆!

Important :  gold may or may not come out exactly the same as in pictures   Sometimes it’s orange gold sometimes it yellow gold   It’s the hardest color to powder coat as it get a chrome base with 2 stages of clear / candy gold .  The front main bracket is the only one colored if you choose color options .  The rest of the parts are matte black !

ATTENTION Canadian customers !! If you chose UPS as your shipping option , there are times where UPS will impose an import fee!   I don’t know how they determine the cost but some customers are stating $100-$120 US dollars which is ridiculous!  I have no control over it once it leaves me and enters Canada   I think it’s a government fee they are charging UPS in which some one has to pay !  You have been warned   There’s always DHL option and USPS
