The KDSS Upgrades Worth Doing First

A B.O.T.C.K. bracket bolted to the factory axle mount. Powder coated quarter-inch mild steel, no welding required.
Ranked by how much they change the way the truck drives, not by price. If you only do one thing, do the first one.
1. Track bar correction
The highest impact change on any lifted KDSS truck. Lifting steepens the track bar angle, which pulls the axle sideways as the suspension cycles. A correction bracket returns the bar closer to level and the lateral wander goes away.
The B.O.T.C.K. kits are quarter-inch mild steel, powder coated, and bolt to the factory mounts. All bolts torque to 90 to 100 ft-lbs, then re-torque at 100 miles.
2. Panhard correction
Same principle, applied where the platform uses a panhard rod. The B.O.P.C.K. kit addresses the front on applicable vehicles and is the counterpart to the rear track bar work.
3. Sway bar billet clamps
Factory clamps are stamped and they spread under load, which softens how quickly the bar responds. Machined 6061 billet aluminum clamps, anodized, do not. Available front and rear.
4. The front billet link
Factory KDSS links are a known wear item, and a failed link is one of the most common causes of lean that gets blamed on something else. The billet link is 6061 aluminum with delrin at the pivot.
5. Bushing bracket
Rubber ages and compresses. The bushing bracket pairs billet with polyurethane, which holds shape under load far longer.
6. Rear sway bar drop kit
For lifted trucks where the rear bar geometry needs bringing back. The drop kit uses 7075 aluminum and stainless hardware.
7. Front sway bar end adapters
Corrects the link angle at the bar end. Machined from 6061 and 7075, anodized. See the end adapters.
8. ABS and TRAC OFF control
Not a handling part, but it changes what the truck lets you do on a technical climb. A dash switch gives you direct control over traction intervention.
9. Hitch slider and recovery point
The hitch slider is 6061 billet aluminum and protects the hitch while giving you a rated recovery point.
10. Fuse box cover
Small, cheap, and it solves the specific annoyance of finding the right fuse in the dark. See the fuse box cover.
How to sequence this
Do geometry first, drive it for a few weeks, then decide whether you need anything else. Most people find the correction kit answers the complaint they started with.
