If you want the most out of your 2010- present 4runner and/or gx460 (Prado 150 Asia market) with kdss, then you want our kdss control unit.  Comprised of OEM Toyota main connector, OEM match colored wires, OEM connector pins, and high quality highly detailed 3D printed resin connector.(no such thing as factory matting connector so don’t be fooled by the competition)

This system is plug-and-play for the most part. The most important part that is plug and play is the kdss connector/ kdss computer engagement. There are some simple crimping to do as you will need to connect the kdss control harness to either a dash switch (full kit) or if you already own a switch module like a switch pro you can use that to trigger the kdss control harness.

Every kdss control harness is QC tested before it ships to the customer. 

This item Sold in two variants.  

  1. with a custom factory, fit LED lighted switch (amber)  manufactured by AirOnBoard out of Australia
  2. just the control harness itself which can be connected to any switch.

What is KDSS and why do I need control over it?

From the factory your 2010- present 4runner and/or gx460 with kdss above 12mph, the sway bar is active just like any normal sway bar.  Under 12mph, the valves in the hydraulics system open up allowing the sway bar to articulate with the suspension.  While kdss setup offers awesome high speed cornering , especially on the pavement, in many cases it can be really stiff. The kdss control setup allows you to open the valves up and stay open vs it opening and closing 50- 100x / sec  in the kdss hydraulic system allowing the sway bar to be less active and allowing the sway bar to articulate with the suspension over the set speed of 12mph from the factory.   In turn you will have less of the road/ trail transfer through the cab and not shake it so violently.  Although most think this is to be used for offroad, there are many cases where you can safely use it on road.  Example would be in town where their might be a lot of uneven pavement , pot holes etc.  when you want to have the sports car handling, just hit the switch to go back into stock mode.

2020+ vehicles will get a kdss malfunction error on the screen, all you need to do is hit ok and be on your way

KDSS “Lean” is caused by an imbalance in the hydraulic system for kdss.  The imbalance can occur when one lifts the 4r/ gx and doesn’t take the proper steps to open up the valves either mechanically with the bolts on the accumulator or electronically with unplugging the system or using kdss control to interrupt the circuit wires to each valve ( when electronically opening the valves you just have the key in the ignition / on position.   Once we start to lift above the 2.75” + height.  You will need some supporting mods like drop spacers for the rear and some kdss adapters for the front to keep the sway bar from contacting the trac bar ( in the rear ) and on the frame ( in the front).  


This kdss control helps prevent or fix” kdss lean” by allowing the valves to stay open allowing the natural weight of the vehicle to force the oil in the system to go where it needs to go.  The more you use it the better the results.   You will have ppl saying that it’s not and imbalance in the system that causes the lean and that it’s purely from lifting it.  Those ppl can’t explain why if you have a vehicle that say is lifted 3.5” and has a lean and then they either rebalance it via mechanically opening up valves and forcing the oil via jack up method or leaving the valves open and driving around leveling it out with no more lean. How does this happen if we didn’t change anything suspension parts or lower the lift   Just purely rebalance the system.  It’s because they are guessing / assuming #mudpuppy 😝 .  

ATTENTION PRADO OWNERS.  CHOOSE THE CORRECT YEAR MODEL BASED OFF THE WIRE SEQUENCE!  Colors do not matter.  Take a look at wire on the very top row.  Specifically look at the wire closest the connectors clip.  If theres 1 pin location open next to the connectors clip then you order 2010-2019 model.  If the pin location to the right of the connectors clip has a wire in it, then you will order 2020+ model.

Worth Every Penny, Fixes Multiple Issues Perfectly

This kit was far easier to install on my 2020 4runner TRD PRO than the videos show. I could have used another inch higher, but my problems were solved the way it came. My top heavy, wobbly feel is gone and the rear doesn't try to kick out. I did not get an adjustable panhard bar, but would if I went higher than 3".
