Land Cruiser 250 and GX550: Correction Kit Fitment

The 250 series Land Cruiser and the GX550 share a platform, and they share the same behavior once you lift them. The track bar ends up steeper than designed and the rear axle starts moving laterally through its travel.
New platform, same physics
It does not matter how new the truck is. A track bar fixed at the frame on one end and the axle on the other swings through an arc, and the steeper you make it, the more sideways movement that arc produces.
Owners of these trucks tend to be running them loaded, on longer trips, which is exactly the use case where a rear axle that wanders gets tiring rather than just noticeable.
What we build for it
A correction kit for the LC250 and GX550 in the same quarter-inch powder coated mild steel as the rest of the range, using factory mounting points.
Blemished units carry a cosmetic flaw in the finish and nothing else. Same steel, same geometry, same hardware. Given the part lives under the truck, that is usually an easy trade.
Install
Socket set with 14mm, 18mm and 19mm, torque wrench, pry bar, jack and stands, round file for powder coat tight holes.
Support the axle, remove the wheel for clearance, loosen the frame side bolt before the axle side. Fit both brackets, run the M14 flange bolt in loose to align, then tighten everything.
All bolts to 90 to 100 ft-lbs, and re-torque after 100 miles. Step by step detail is in the install guide.

Does the GX550 kit fit the GX460?
No. Those are different platforms. The GX460 uses a different kit.
What does blemished mean?
A cosmetic imperfection in the powder coat. Structurally identical.
Is this reversible?
Yes. It bolts on with no cutting or welding, so the truck can go back to standard.
